Worked example: tiles, kitchen, wardrobes

One customer, three departments: Sharma Residence from tiles to a modular kitchen to wardrobes, with the dates and what each person sees.

Brand Beavers sells tiles, modular kitchens and wardrobes from three departments. It has three pipelines, a Kitchen circle with Priya Sharma and Sameer Khan, and two rules:

  • Tiles to Modular kitchen: when a Tiles deal reaches Tiles finalised, wait 2 working days, open a Modular kitchen deal for the Kitchen circle in turn, with the task Call about the modular kitchen the next day, a handover in Charcha, and the tiles salesperson shown in the report.
  • Modular kitchen to Wardrobes: when a Modular kitchen deal is won, wait 7 days (calendar days), open a Wardrobes deal by the Deal assignment rules, with the task Show the wardrobe catalogue in 2 days.

Wednesday 14 October: the tiles are chosen

Rohan Mehta’s deal Sharma Residence: floor and wall tiles is worth 3,40,000. Its contact person is Anil Sharma, its site is Plot 14, Vaishali Nagar, Jaipur, and the customer was referred by the architect Ar. Neha Kapoor. Rohan presses Tiles finalised on the deal’s stages. Within five minutes the rule notes it, and the deal’s History says a Modular kitchen deal opens on Friday 16 October. It appears on the waiting list and on the deal’s Cross-sell card.

Friday 16 October, 9 in the morning: the kitchen deal opens

Two working days later the rule checks the safeguards: no open kitchen deal for Sharma Residence, nobody marked Do not contact, nothing opened for them in 180 days. It opens Sharma Residence: Modular kitchen on New, with Anil Sharma, the site address and Walk-in carried across, credited to Ar. Neha Kapoor because the customer is inside her window. Priya Sharma is next in the Kitchen circle, so it is hers. (In Brand Beavers’ case a manager pressed Open now on the Wednesday, so it opened at once, on 14 October.)

Priya gets Deal assigned to you, a task to call due the next working day, and the deal’s Charcha conversation with the handover note. Rohan is told the kitchen deal opened and went to Priya.

Later: the kitchen is won

Priya measures the site, shares a design and wins the kitchen at 2,40,000. Rohan is told Sharma Residence: Modular kitchen was won at 2,40,000. The second rule notes the won kitchen and puts a Wardrobes deal on the waiting list for seven days later, Wednesday 21 October, when it will go to whoever the Deal assignment rules choose, with the catalogue task.

What the reports say

Cross-sell: from one department to another shows Tiles to Modular kitchen with 1 opened, 1 won and 2,40,000 won value. Cross-sell: who brought it in shows Rohan Mehta, Tiles, with the same. And Ar. Neha Kapoor’s page under Channel Partners includes the kitchen deal in what she brought in.

The Cross-sell card on the tiles deal reading Sharma Residence: Modular kitchen, Priya Sharma, Won at 2,40,000, opened 14 Oct 2026.
On Rohan’s tiles deal: the kitchen deal it opened, now won.
